Have you noticed the Content Marketing Playbook, 42 ways to connect with customers? I discovered it on Junta42. There is more fun stuff there by the way. But this is really cool. You want to know which media you might best use to spread your content and don’t have the time or energy to really study all the different types of (social) media and what there pitfalls mights be? Take a look at this small booklet. You can download it for free, so why not.
You want to use a Magalog? (By the way: I didn’t even know it existed, but it turns out it’s a combination between a catalog and a magazine with interesting stories for loyal fans.) The Playbook informs you what it is, what it’s a cool tool for, what it’s not so hot for (e.g. service oriented businesses) and gives you key play points. The information is short, but enough to help you along in your decision making process. You want to know more? You will probable find a reference to a book, a white paper or an eBook that will help you along.
You have no clear idea what media you could use to reach your customer with your content? Well this might help. Why not use a comic book, an online game, a screencast, start a facebook movement (don’t use this if you can’t let go!) et cetera?
A teaching tool?
Shouldn’t this be a obligatory booklet for teachers? It might make us a bit more creative, show us other ways to spread our content. Why not look through it before we start our usual way of teaching? We might be a lot more interesting. O.k. the Playbook was designed for customers, not students. But are they not the customers to whom we try to sell our content?
An idea?

I was a little skeptical, but I admit now, it is definitely cool. Thanks for the tip. I hope they’ll update it regularly: e-book is so much more interesting now with the new Apple-toy.
