According to http://www.gsmworld.com/ there are a stunning approx 800 new GSM and 3GSM connections worldwide per minute (indicative only, estimated from market data collected by Wireless Intelligence. It is not a precise figure, nor usable for legal purposes.) At 10.30 AM on March 2, 2010, the estimated total was 4,207,736,782.

Yesterday Saxion and HU started the MediaBattle. More than 15 teams will develop new business concepts based on five briefings of companies. Friday a jury will decide the winner based on 5 minute pitches.

Final pitches

Friday afternoon the final pitches will be given at the FNT (Oudenoord, Utrecht) to a jury of experts on design, technology and interaction. More than ten teams of students will pitch on new solutions made possible by Multi Touch Tables.
