Pim Schonk

Lecturer Digital Communication

Pim (1959) is a lecturer Digital Communication at the faculty of Communication and Journalism at the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht). He graduated at the School of Economics and Management at the Tilburg University. During his study in Tilburg he became interested in de possibilities of ICT in his own environment and for business opportunities. Nowadays he is still looking for new opportunities and he is searching for the boundaries of new technologies.

This quest results in adapting new technology in his own courses and the University his is working for. Since 1995 he is working on several ICTO-projects (JOIN, DWLO and OASE). In 2008 he became the innovating reward from Surf for the way Sharepoint was used in several courses. The focus of Pim lies now on how to use video in proper matter and how to implement this use in an educational organisation.
