I got my Bachelor degree (Clinical) Psychology at the Utrecht University and continued with my Master in Amsterdam, at the Vrije Universiteit. My Master was focused on Sport Psychology, at the faculty of Human Movement Sciences. During my Master, I did a research project at the University Medical Center Utrecht, division Sports Medicine. The research project was about overtraining (also known as burnout in sport) in first year rowers at the student rowing club Triton in Utrecht. Also, I wrote a short-literature review about superstition in elite-athletes. In June 2009, I graduated for my Master.
After my study, I started working at the faculty of Communication and Journalism at the University of Applied Sciences. My task is to support the research groups in all kind of ways: organize seminars/readings, update the website, et cetera.
